Kuluya Kazakbayevich Azykov is a candidate of agricultural Sciences, Honored Worker of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz SSR. He was director of the Institute of Agriculture from 1959 to 1980. He made a tremendous contribution to the development of agriculture in the Kyrgyz Republic.

 

On Memorial Day, December 22, the opening ceremony of the memorial plaque inside the central building was held at the Institute of Agriculture. This act has become a symbol of appreciation and respect for the life and professional activities of Azykov Kuluya Kazakbayevich. The event also included the opening of a conference hall, which was named after him, perpetuating his scientific legacy and contribution to agricultural science.

 

The event was attended by relatives of Kuluya Kazakbayevich and former employees of the Institute of Agriculture, who once worked under his leadership. Their presence has become an important element of the common memory, emphasizing the legacy and influence of the outstanding leader on the team and the institution as a whole.
