On April 23, the Institute of Agriculture was visited by the staff of the World Food Program at the United Nations, headed by Representative Kanjiro Nakai. During the visit, the scientific activities of the departments of breeding and primary seed production, the Department of Soil Science and the genetic bank of the Institute of Agriculture were familiarized. We also visited the Kyrgyz experimental breeding station for sugar beet and got acquainted with their scientific and production work. The visit was made for a joint project in the near future.
